Agreements on mutual visa exemption between China and Qatar will take effect on Dec 21, officials from both countries announced on Wednesday.

State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, deputy prime minister and foreign minister of Qatar, agreed that the two countries are ready to use this opportunity to promote tourism cooperation and increase people-to-people exchanges.

Wang and Mohammed co-chaired the first meeting of China-Qatar governmental strategic dialogue mechanism in Beijing.
This is the best news for Chinese companies from Oil and Gas Industry who want to open market in Qatar. After quitting from OPEC, there is no doubt that Qatar will increase own ability on Exploration and Development. This can generate many new chances to all Chinese equipment manufacturers, consumables producers and even service contractors. The world is changing and western huge service contractors are over the hill.
